LOVELY vintage 1950s silk dress in navy blue with "cotton balls" print in cream- sort of looks polka dotted. The dress is extremely well made- I remember purchasing it with some extra high end designer dresses. It is made like a couturier would do, but there is no label.
The vintage dress closes 3/4 of the way from the top with self covered buttons. The belt is built into the waist, and buckles in front.sleeves are one piece with a gusset and are 3/4 long. The gussets are great and have built in perspiration protectors. The skirt is knife pleated to the waistband, and is lined from the waist to the hip to keep stress off the fabric.
The skirt is pretty full. It's very fitted and very 1950s.
